Feeling Out of Place?

Free Relationship Advice, from Relationship-Oneness.com
This guy looks like he went through the wrong door, and ended up on stage when he was really just looking for the pool. Do you ever find yourself feeing out of place? I know I have, and at times it led to moments of anxiety where I would just walk out without finishing a conversation.

My Anxious Self:

I have to laugh at myself here a little bit because I’m known as somewhat of an entertainer, I’ve been on stage in a promotion role, entertained groups of people with magic, and have had thousands of people hear my voice live over the radio on a consistent basis. So I find it funny that today 5 years later, when in large crowds, I get all discombobulated and feel completely out of my element. I’m sure that if I was so inclined, it would be easy to find some pill to help put me in an apathetic state to ease my discomfort. But I don’t. Why? Because it seems to me that this experience of social anxiety is there for a reason, and to avoid the message means I may never gain insight into a deeper truth about myself.

hung heartWhy is it that some of us feel the need to stick around in an abusive relationship? By relationships I mean with a parent, friend, partner, etc. What is your motivation behind ’sticking’ around? Do you feel as though there might be some sort of reward waiting for you? Or are you too scared to stand up for yourself and say enough is enough? What are the standards that you hold for yourself?

My Experience

I currently have a relationship with someone who is constantly mentally abusive towards me. This person lashes out and makes comments to purposely try and hurt me. I also want to point out that this person plays a pretty significant role in my life. It doesn’t feel good to have someone put me down almost every other day. So why do I put up with it? Here is what I have come up with;

I’m wrapping up my day 7 raw food challenge today on Sunday, wanted to just go over what my experience was and my plans for the future.

What did I do?

For 7 days I only ate raw living food. If you’re not familiar with this way of eating and the benefits of it, I encourage you to look into the work of David Wolfe to learn more. My diet consisted of Fruits, Veggies, Nuts, Seeds, & Berries.

Example of one day on raw food:

6am:
lots of water. (My water was from a natural spring about 45 minutes from my house that I collect weekly.)

7-8am Breakfast:
Smoothie consisting of approx 4 ounces of spinach, lettuce, or kale, 3 bananas, pineapple spear, Goji berries, raw Cashews, lemon juice, and coconut water. (There are endless combinations)
