Feeling Out of Place?

Free Relationship Advice, from Relationship-Oneness.com
This guy looks like he went through the wrong door, and ended up on stage when he was really just looking for the pool. Do you ever find yourself feeing out of place? I know I have, and at times it led to moments of anxiety where I would just walk out without finishing a conversation.

My Anxious Self:

I have to laugh at myself here a little bit because I’m known as somewhat of an entertainer, I’ve been on stage in a promotion role, entertained groups of people with magic, and have had thousands of people hear my voice live over the radio on a consistent basis. So I find it funny that today 5 years later, when in large crowds, I get all discombobulated and feel completely out of my element. I’m sure that if I was so inclined, it would be easy to find some pill to help put me in an apathetic state to ease my discomfort. But I don’t. Why? Because it seems to me that this experience of social anxiety is there for a reason, and to avoid the message means I may never gain insight into a deeper truth about myself.

Read the Intro to this 5 Part Series

pt. 2 – See Them as Whole
pt.3 – Discover Sincerity in what you Love about Them
pt.4 – Anticipate the Moment You Can Share your Discovery

This is part 5, of a Relationship Series called; How to Encourage a Loved One.

  1. Communicate your discovery with many smiles.
  2. Express your discovery with actions in love.
  3. Conclusion – Speak your heart.

One of my most favorite activities when it comes to encouraging others, is all the time I spend anticipating when I will be able to encourage my wife or tell her how absolutely stunning she is. I get so excited on the inside when I think about sending her sweet messages of encouragement, little love letters that are anywhere between 3 words to 300. There is so much creative power in my anticipation, partly because of this, my wife continues to get more beautiful. I remember when we first met, she wasn’t near as outrageously gorgeous as she is now. I’m not sure there is more than two days that go by without me expressing to her in some way how taken-back I am by her beauty.

Remember your Discovery.
Understand it’s Uniqueness.
Visualize their heart, and watch it grow with bright colors. (smile often)

Encourage their Heart in Silence. Have you ever spoken to someone’s heart, as though their heart was truly listening? You may not get the attention of the person, but what if their heart actually picked up on what you were saying; or more appropriately, picked up on what you were feeling.
